Howdy, I’m Mai Phuong – a QA team member in Vareal Vietnam. It’s nice to make your acquaintance and share with you guys about my journey in Vareal Vietnam and my nickname “Little girl”.
A few words about myself
I was born in 1998 in the peaceful countryside of Bac Ninh province. I graduated from Thuong Mai University majoring in Management Information System. Currently, I’m the youngest sister in both the QA team and Vareal Vietnam. As you know, Bac Ninh is the original birthplace of Quan Ho folk singing, but unfortunately I don’t have any talent for it.Yeah, I understand that god will never give us everything we want (Smile)
I’m a shy girl of very few words, but I am a good listener. This is one of the reasons why most people trust me and often share their stories with me. Because of my introverted personality, I often enjoy listening to balad songs or just sipping a cup of tea and reading a favorite book in my free time.
It’s enough about me. And now, I shall tell you what made me become a member in Vareal Family. In the end of 2019, after I had already completed my graduation thesis and sent my CV to many network of recruiters, I surprised to receive a interview invitation from Ms. Dung, the old assistant to CEO in VV at that time.
Honestly, I was so surprised and wondered how and why she could see my wish to become a Tester and invited me for an interview for a Tester position. However, after thinking for a while, I decided to take advantage of the chance to apply and only a few weeks after the interview, I officially worked as Intern QA in Vareal Vietnam.
Being the only intern of the company, I sometimes felt self-pity .However, thanks to the good-humoured and enthusiastic colleagues, my intern work got more interesting and exciting. After finishing the 2-month internship and passing the 2-month probationary period, I officially became an employee of Vareal Vietnam on 2nd April, 2020.
One thing that I always feel “proud” of in Vareal Vietnam is being the youngest sister in company. This “Little girl” nickname has been with me since my internship until now. All colleges – my friendly brothers and sister always treat me with kindness and consideration and rarely scold me. ^^
In addition, I’m very glad to be the only intern member in the company becoming an official employee and then promoted to my current Junior QA position.
During my internship period and working time at Vareal, I’ve experienced so many great things here for the first time:
This was the first time I joined projects using Japanese
This was the first time I learned Japanese – the language with the most alphabets I’ve ever known
This was the first time I traveled with the company
This was the first time I experienced “Work from home”
This was the first time I participated in the company’s New Year Party event
Vareal family has helped me mature and open-minded in a relationship, and gave me a chance to learn and obtain important knowledge, and to enhance my skills. This is just my sharing and feelings about Vareal Vietnam. Hopefully, it helps people understand the people and working environment at Vareal Vietnam better.
Looking forward to seeing you guys in Vareal VN
